Scope of Works Delivered
JKR Group was engaged by Build Run Repair (BRR) to deliver the structural steel erection and mechanical installation works for the VISY Cullet Processing Plant, a key component of Visy’s new Glass Recycling and Manufacturing Facility in South-East Queensland. The plant is designed to process up to 40 tonnes of waste glass per hour, separating material into Amber, Green, and Flint streams for reuse in glass production.
Key works included:
Structural steel erection for the multi-level cullet processing building exceeding 21 metres in height
Installation and alignment of structural frames, access platforms, walkways, and stairs
Erection of conveyor support structures throughout the plant
Mechanical installation of infeed hoppers and vibrating feeders
Installation of conveyors, bucket elevators, and transfer systems
Installation and integration of the rotary dryer and gas burner systems
Installation of vibratory feeders, chutes, and associated material handling components
Coordination with equipment supplier REDWAVE and principal contractor BRR
