Project Overview

JKR Group was engaged to deliver structural steel erection works for the Regional Rail – Mindyarra Maintenance Facility in Dubbo, NSW. The project forms part of a major government rail infrastructure investment designed to support the maintenance and operation of New South Wales’ growing regional rail network.

The facility was developed to service and maintain a fleet of 117 regional rail cars and includes multiple operational, maintenance, and support buildings critical to the long-term performance of the rail network.

JKR Group successfully erected approximately 2,000 tonnes of structural steel across six buildings, providing the structural framework required for the maintenance workshops, operational facilities, and supporting infrastructure.
